Water tank commissioned at Manthoppu
A temporary drinking water tank linked to a newly sunk borewell was formally commissioned at Manthoppu near Karumandapam by Mayor A. Jaya on Friday.
The borewell fitted with a power pump will be used to fill the tank to meet the requirements of the residents of the area. Ms. Jaya handed over 38 garbage bins to traders at Karumandapam so to ensure proper collection of solid wastes in the area. She inspected a toilet complex for differently abled in the area.
Corporation commissioner V.P. Thandapani accompanied the Mayor.
