Corporation warning against posters

The City Municipal Corporation has warned against pasting of posters and pamphlets in the 350 newly kept stainless steel bins in all the wards in the city recently. A release said that the dustbin carries the details of ward number, street name, sanitary inspector name and contact number of the supervisor with name. The details were given for the benefit of the people to contact the officials concerned in case of delay in disposal of garbage. Action would be taken against the violators under The Tamil Nadu Open Places (Prevention of Disfigurement) Act 1959, the release warned.
