Mayor inspects bus stand

Mayor inspects work on auto bay.

Mayor V.V. Rajan Chellappa inspected the civic amenities and infrastructure at Mattuthavani integrated bus stand here on Wednesday.

He enquired about the new bay being constructed at the bus stand for parking of autorickshaws and taxis.

The Corporation is spending Rs.66 lakh to lay paver blocks in the proposed parking area.

The Mayor directed the officials to ensure that the auto bay work was completed soon. He then inspected civil works going on at the omni bus stand being established nearby. City Engineer A. Mathuram and other officials were present.
