Corporation and Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board officials conducted raids at shops and seized disposable plastics of less 40 micron thickness on Thursday.

The officials conducted raids at shops on Chunnambukkara Street, Long Bazar, Rottikara Street, Fish Market and Kamisary Bazar.

The total plastic materials seized weighed 1015 g.
