Civic body on tax collection campaign

The Tiruchi Corporation has launched an intensive campaign to collect dues of property, water, and other taxes for the year 2010-2011 and the taxes could be paid at the Corporation's divisional offices at Ponmalai, Abishekapuram, Srirangam, and Ariyamangalam and also in the ward offices at Ariyamangalam, Subramaniapuram, Melakalkandarakottai, K.K.Nagar, Nandikovil Street, and Thevar Hall.

The taxes could be paid on all the days, including Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. till February 28, according to a communication from Corporation Commissioner T.T.Balsamy on Thursday.

The Commissioner urges the people to extend cooperation to the drive.
