Pay tax, say Corporation officials

: In a bid to expedite settlement of tax due to Corporation of Tuticorin, the tax payers have been alerted here on Tuesday.  

With drum beats on VE road, the corporation authorities exhorted the residents to pay tax towards drinking water and properties swiftly.

S.A. Rajagopalan, Executive Engineer, Corporation, said special teams had been formed to collect pending tax amount. Tax amount should be paid within March 31 or else legal action would be initiated against the defaulters, he added.
