Corporation asks people to pay arrears
ERODE: Erode Corporation has asked people to clear all arrears. People who have to pay house tax, vacant plot tax, industrial tax, water charges, fee for taking on lease Corporation premises, and others shall do so at the earliest and obtain receipts. Failure will lead to the civic body severing water connection and also initiating steps to confiscate premises, it warns and adds that facilities have been made to remit money on Saturdays and Sundays as well.
