Tax collection to start today

TIRUCHI: Tiruchi Corporation will launch an intensive tax collection drive, commencing Thursday, till the end of this month, Commissioner T.T.Balsamy has said.
In a press release, Mr.Balsamy said all the Corporation service centres and collection centres would function from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. including Saturdays and Sundays to enable tax-payers to remit their dues. The taxes can be remitted at the Corporation service centres at the zonal offices or at the collection centres at the Ward Offices at Ariyamangalam, Subramaniapuram, Melkalkandarkottai, K.K.Nagar Kalla Street and Nandhi Kovil Street, Viragupettai Ovehead Tank Complex, Woraiyur Office of the Sanitary Inspector, Edamalaipattipudur Siddha Dispensary building and Devar Hall complex.
