Fee for issuance of sanitation certificate announced

The Erode Corporation has announced charges for the issuance of sanitation certificate for educational institutions and hospitals functioning within the town limits.

Accordingly, for nursery schools – Rs. 1,000, nursery and primary schools – Rs. 1,500, high schools – Rs. 2,500 and higher secondary schools – Rs. 3,000.

For hospitals with 10-bed capacity, the charges are fixed at Rs. 1,000.

Hospitals with 11 to 25 beds should pay Rs. 2,000 and for more than 26 beds it was Rs. 3,000.

The Corporation council, during a meeting held in November 24 last year, had approved these charges.

The managements of institutions or hospitals can register their objections, if any, with the Corporation within January 22.

Objections, if any, can be registered with the Corpn. within January 22.

Mobile tax collection unit

TIRUCHI: The Corporation will collect property tax through mobile collection unit in Srirangam division from December 22 to 24.

The van will be stationed at the following places in the division : December 22: Cauvery road, near Lloyds road (10 a.m. to 1 p.m.); V. N. Nagar and third street (1 p.m. to 3 p.m.); Sankaran Pillai and near SRC (3 p.m. to 6 p.m.).

December 23: Keezha Andal veedhi (10 a.m. to 1 p.m.); near Jeevanagar Ellai Mariamman temple (1 p.m. to 3 p.m.), Big Bazar street and near the Government Girls HSS (3 p.m. to 6 p.m.).

December 24: Kasipalayam and near Rajeswari Hopsital (10 a.m. to 1 p.m.); Kallar street and near TELC school (1 p.m. to 3 p.m.); near Passport office and Jinnah street corner (3 p.m. to 6 p.m.).
