Corporation council meet tomorrow

CHENNAI: Several resolutions including one seeking approval for the estimate of a four-lane bridge connecting Rajiv Gandhi Salai and Indira Nagar will come up at the meeting of the Chennai Corporation Council to be held on Monday.
If the council approves of the resolution, the work of replacing the damaged iron pedestrian bridge will be taken up.
The estimated cost of the bridge with a 15.3-metre carriage way and two 2.25-metre-wide footpaths is Rs.3.18 crore.
Mayor M.Subramanian said that a resolution pertaining to convening the executive committee meeting of the all India Mayors conference would also be taken up.
