Rangarajapuram flyover misses deadline again
CHENNAI: The Rangarajapuram flyover, a joint venture of Chennai Corporation and Railways, at Kodambakkam has missed the deadline again.The commissioning of the two-way facility being constructed at a cost of `24 crore has been postponed for the fourth time on Thursday. The 962-metre bridge is aimed at easing traffic congestion in and around Kodambakkam, T Nagar and Mambalam.
After inspecting the ongoing work at Rangarajapuram, Mayor M Subramanian told the media that the Y-shaped facility was expected to completed by December and opened by January next year. Of the project cost of `24 crore, Chennai Corporation was extending `16 crore.
