Water supply in several parts of the city will be hit due to interconnection works being carried out by Chennai Metro Water between October 25 and 26.

A Metro water spokesman said that piped water supply in Nanganallur and Alandur would be hit due to interconnection works underway at GST Road near Alandur Water Distribution station from 9 am on Friday till 9am on Saturday.

The other areas that would be affected include Adambakkam, Balaji Nagar, B V Nagar and K K Nagar in Alandur area, Cantonment Board, Officers Training Academy, Meenambakkam, Indian Air Force Station, Pammal Municipality, Anakaputhur Municipality, Pozhichalur village panchayat, Cowl Bazaar Village Panchayat, Munavur Avenue.
