Kiran congratulates GVMC on winning awards
Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy on Monday congratulated GVMC on winning two JNNURM awards at the national-level.
The awards should serve as an inspiration for GVMC to work better and win more accolades, the Chief Minister said.

Administration Minister M. Mahidhar Reddy led a team of MA&UD
officials that met the Chief Minister along with the awards at
Hyderabad.
The officials received the award on January 21 from President Pranab Mukherjee.

Commissioner M. V. Satyanarayana told the Chief Minister that the
awards were won for taking up housing for the poor allotting 20 to 25
per cent of land in developed areas and for pro-poor reforms spending 40
per cent of funds for amenities for the urban poor.
