Last date for house tax extended
The house tax committee of Municipal Corporation of Chandigarh
on Monday extended the last date of house tax till March 31, next year.

Earlier, the last date of submission of house tax was December 15. The
decision was taken by the members of committee during a meeting with the
Chairman of House tax committee Babulal.
Meanwhile members also discussed and decided that the deposit form for
residential property tax should also be simplified as people are finding
it hard to understand the form. The committee members were of the view
that the residential property tax should be based on allotment letter.
