Local body adalats
The Local Administration Department will conduct adalats in all
districts from January 31 to February 5 to settle complaints about the
delay of the civic bodies in issuing door numbers to newly constructed
buildings.
Local Administration Minister Paloli Mohammed Kutty said
in an official release here on Monday that the adalats were planned in
the wake of complaints that certain civic bodies were not issuing door
numbers to buildings on flimsy grounds.
Complainants in Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam and
Kozhikode districts should submit applications with supporting documents
to the senior town planners of the Town and Country Planning Department
and others to the District Town Planners before January 15.
The adalats will be held at selected places in each district.
