Mayor, Deputy Mayor polls on April 27
The Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike has announced the
elections for the fourth term for 2013-14 for the posts of Mayor,
Deputy Mayor and standing committee members on April 27.
The
elections, which will commence from 2 p.m., will be chaired by Regional
Commissioner, Bangalore, at Kempe Gowda Paura Sabhangana, BBMP office,
Narasimha Raju Square.
The post of Mayor has been
reserved under the general category, that of the Deputy Mayor under
Backward Class Block-A (BCA). Candidates contesting for Mayor and Deputy
Mayor can file their nominations between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. on April
27 at the BBMP office.
