Mayor inspects BMC’s development works
development works being carried out by Bhopal Municipal Corporation
(BMC) in different areas of the city.
Mayor on Thursday inspected the BRTS Corridors from RRL square to
Misrod road. She also visited the Danish Nagar, Rajat Nagar, Narayan
Nagar, Saket Nagar, Khajuri Kalan, Ayodhya By-pass Road and nearby
areas.
During her visit to BRTS corridors, she instructed the officials
concerned to construct a service road on both the sides of the corridors
from Bagh Sewania to RRL square. She further instructed the officials
to install the high-mast lights in Khajuri Kalan and also to repair the
damaged roads of the area.
On the occasion, Additional Commissioner Chandramoli Shukla, City
Engineer AK Nanda, DK Bhavsar, Devendra Tiwari were also present.
During her visit to BRTS corridors, Mayor received detailed information
about the development works being carried out there. Additional
Commissioner Chandramoli Shukla and other officials concerned informed
Mayor Krishna Gaur about the facilities being provided to the passengers
travelling in the buses. She further asked them to provide better
travelling facilities to the students boarding the bus from Barkatulla
University, keeping the security measures in mind.
During her visit to Danish Nagar, Rajat Nagar, Narayan Nagar, Saket
Nagar, Khajuri Kalan, Ayodhya By-pass Road and nearby areas, Mayor asked
the officials to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the respective
areas. She also instructed them to construct the roads and look into
other facilities to be provided there as per the requirements.
On the occasion assistant engineers HS Bedi, Pradeep Jadiya, sanitary
in-charge Ashok Maheshwari and Rakesh Sharma were also present.
Meanwhile, the BMC anti encroachment squad took against the
encroachments here on Thursday at Royal Market, Sehore Check-point,
Lalghati, Gandhi Nagar, Bhoapl Talkies, Bus Stand Alpana, Bharat
Talkies, Lady Hospital, Link Road 1, 1250 Hospital, AIIMS Hospital,
Saket Nagar, Chiklod road, Jinci square, Slaughter house, Anand Nagar
Vegetable Market and nearby areas.
The squad removed encroachments from roadsides, footpaths that were
causing obstacles in the smooth flow of the traffic. The squad also took
action against the encroachments at public places and the vehicles
parked in the non-parking area.
