Mayor inspects toilet in Periyar bus stand
Public toilet inspected
Mayor
V.V. Rajan Chellappa on Tuesday inspected the public toilet at Periyar
bus stand and checked whether only the prescribed charge was collected
from users. The inspection was to mark the World Toilets Day, according
to a press release.
He said all the 372 public
toilets in the Corporation area would be inspected in a phased manner by
the staff and action taken to keep them clean.
Commissioner in-charge Leela, Deputy Mayor R. Gopalakrishnan and City Health Officer Yasodha Mani accompanied the Mayor.
