Mayor releases booklet
Mayor V.V. Rajan Chellappa released a booklet on the ‘Achievements of Madurai Corporation in the last two years’ here on Friday.
Collector L. Subramanian received it in the presence of Vellore Collector and former Corporation Commissioner R. Nanthagopal.
Mr.
Chellappa also distributed online building plan approvals to 100
petitioners, and presented cheques and prizes to 220 beneficiaries and
Corporation School students – all worth Rs.66.76 lakh.
Prof.
Gnanasambandan presided over a pattimandram which centred around Chief
Minister Jayalalithaa’s achievements and her challenges ahead of the Lok
Sabha elections.
A large number of AIADMK cadre and leaders, including Deputy Mayor R. Gopalakrishnan, and Corporation officials participated.
