Mayor urged to call Council meet soon

HYDERABAD: Forty five corporators belonging to Telugu Desam Party (TDP) on Thursday urged the GHMC Mayor, Banda Karthika Reddy to immediately convene a Council meeting of GHMC to discuss various civic and administration issues.
TDP Corporators led by Singi Reddy Srinivas Reddy submitted a representation to the Mayor at GHMC head office here. They informed that civic amenities particularly sanitation, water and sewerage, street lights, spread of vector-borne diseases like dengue, chikunguniya and malaria, road conditions are in bad shape causing inconvenience to the citizens of Greater Hyderabad.
They wanted the Mayor to allocate adequate funds for implementation of various works immediately to improving the civic amenities.
