MC team demolishes encroachment near Omaxe Plaza
The Municipal Corporation authorities on Sunday gave a warning to
hotels Friends Regency, Nagpal Regency and Embassy Palace to create
their own parking space, or the civic body would get the vehicles parked
by the guests of these hotels and palace picked from public place.
Zonal Commissioner Isha Kalia said that despite the warning, the hotels
had not yet started using their own parking space and their guests were
using the public parking space of the Municipal Corporation. Though
Friends Regency and Nagpal Regency have purchased a plot for parking
located at some distance, they are yet to use it.
Kalia also got one illegal encroachment demolished near Omaxe Plaza which had come up in place of the greenbelt area.
