Mobile dispensaries in South Corporation villages
NEW DELHI, 27 JUNE: South Corporation has decided to
provide mobile dispensaries in its rural villages which are still
lacking health facilities. The corporation will purchase four mobile
dispensaries as a pilot project and all the rural villages will be
covered in a phased manner. “The rural villages lack proper health
facilities and dispensaries. Moreover, the doctors don’t join their
rural postings which further hampers health facilities in these areas,”
said Rajesh Gehlot, Chairman of Standing Committee in South Corporation.

“One
mobile van for 3 to 4 villages would be deployed depending on their
population in two shifts,” added Gehlot. The villagers complained that
even for minor ailments they have to travel 10 kms to visit a hospital.
He also launched a 20-point programme in village Kharkhari Nahar, under
which all the lanes and drains will be cleaned and reconstructed.
