Commissioner visits Yarada

Commissioner M.V. Satyanarayana on Tuesday visited Yarada to assess the
possibility of an alternative road between Yarada and Gangavaram jetty.
The GVMC has already taken up the BT road at a cost of Rs.1.2 crore
following a request by Gajuwaka MLA Ch. Venkatramaiah . However,
Gangavaram port had been allotted 260 acres and since the road ran
through the site, it wanted the road to be taken up on another route.
