The IT wing of the Municipal Corporation (MC) has begun work to provide online facility to book community centres — numbering over 30 in the city, while some are under-construction.

“The civic body will provide a link on the official website of the MC, where public will be given an option to choose the community centre and book their dates. They will be able to submit the fee through their debit or credit card or even through net banking. The information on Internet will be detailed and informative. Status of each community centre will be shown for public convenience and people will be able to check their status,” said an official working on the project.

The MC has been working hard to provide at least one community centre in each sector, colony and village.
