Nagpur Municipal Corporation to lodge FIR against 6 bogus doctors
NAGPUR: Continuing its
drive to detect and initiate action against bogus doctors, Nagpur
Municipal Corporation (NMC) has declared six more medical practitioners
incapable of practicing due to lack of mandatory certificates.
Additional municipal commissioner Hemant Kumar Pawar has directed the
health department to register FIR against the six doctors on Tuesday.

NMC’s committee examined documents available with 36 doctors practicing
in various parts of the city. The committee declared six of them bogus,
including Amin Mandalik Charitable Hospital, Hansapuri; Khalid Ejaj,
Mominpura; Jaiprakash Paunikar, Prakash Clinic, Timki; Dr Samar Bahadur, Tandapeth; Dr Sakhare, Gandhi square, Vinobha Bhave Nagar, and Dr Gendae, Bharatwada, Kalamna.
Pawar urged citizens and organizations to inform NMC if they come to
know any doctors practicing without valid documents. A few days ago, the
civic body had registered FIR against two doctors after declaring them
bogus.
