“Around 30-40
housing projects with 12 floors are being constructed in the city.
However, the population of the city has reached around 16 lakh and it is
increasing every day,” said a senior civic body official. “Real estate
prices have increased a lot and land is becoming scarce in the city.
Hence, vertical growth of the city is necessary,” he added.
