New commissioner joins Jaipur Development Commissioner
JAIPUR: Newly appointed Jaipur Development Commissioner Abhay Kumar joined office on Wednesday with an aim to expedite project work which is moving at a slow pace.
Kumar informed the media that he has earlier worked as the secretary of JDA and, thus, has an understanding of the body’s working.
Recalling his past tenure, he said, at that time, due to some limitations, many things could not be implemented, as a commissioner he will have more opportunities to implement new things.
In a major reshuffle on Monday, Kumar was appointed as the new JDC, replacing Kuldeep Ranka, who has now been posted in place of Kumar as secretary, state disaster management & rural development.
