Nod for slaughterhouse modernisation
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC)
Standing Committee which met here on Thursday returned the proposals on
development of road from Navayuga SEZ to Chandanagar Railway Station and
promotion of draughtsmen.
The meeting chaired by
Mayor Mohammed Majid Hussain approved the modernisation and upgradation
of the existing slaughterhouse at Jiyaguda and accorded administrative
sanction for shifting of 33 kv line for the road widening from
Chandrayangutta flyover to Peeli Dargah. Mr. Majid Hussain and GHMC
Commissioner Somesh Kumar held a review meeting with the floor leaders
on various developmental works. During the meeting, the leaders
requested the Commissioner to write to the HMR authorities seeking back
Moghal Sarai which was earlier given for construction of railway station
there.
They also requested him to enhance the honorarium of corporators.
