During the elections

mayors or president of district council. Sharma said elections would not
be conducted in eight urban local bodies this time where the elections
were held in 2010. “Elections to urban local bodies are held every five
years hence these eight places would go for the polling in 2015,” he
said.
Reiterating the commitment of the commission for
conducting free and fair polls, Sharma said 3785 polling stations are
being erected for the purpose of voting in which on an average 500
voters would turn up in each booth.

that central para military force along with district police would be
deployed at the polling booth to maintain law and order and ensure that
the elections are held in a secure environment.
