Speaking at the November council meeting, he had said he would ask for surveys, estimation and programme of works at the earliest.
He may submit the letter on Saturday or Monday.
Standing committee inspects parks
The Standing Committee on Horticulture carried out an inspection on the parks in Padmanabhanagar on Friday.
They visited Ganesh Mandira ward and checked the borewells, fountains and the conditions of the trees and plants in parks there. The chairman of the committee, Ranganna, directed concerned officials to ensure that they fix all the problems of these parks and remove the fallen leaves.
The inspection team also visited the Vanaranga park and noticed that many benches were broken.
They asked that the benches be fixed.
Also, the team said the park caretakers should keep fresh drinking water for walkers in the park.
Ranganna instructed contractors at Banashankari III phase park to finish the fencing work — undertaken at a cost of Rs 59.09 lakh — and work on pathway, taken up at Rs 40 lakh.
