Plan to improve water supply
Mayor Mohd. Majid Hussain and GHMC Commissioner M.T.
Krishna Babu have directed the Zonal Commissioners concerned to approve
and release Rs.20 lakh under the corporators’ budget immediately for
improving water supply in their respective divisions.
The
proposals for mitigating the water shortage in the divisions can be
taken up after discussions with the respective general managers of the
Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB), it was
decided at a joint meeting held by the Mayor and Mr. Babu with Water
Board MD J. Shyamala Rao here on Tuesday.
