NELLORE: As the term for the council for Municipal Corporation of Nellore (MCN) is about to complete and the election schedule was not announced till date, the government should appoint a special officer with IAS cadre for the Corporation, said PCC secretary Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy.

Mr. Sridhar Reddy launched the drive by releasing oil balls in a drainage, which will kill the mosquito larva in stagnated waters. The Rajiv Gandhi Bhavan workers will drop the balls in all major drainages in the city and also distribute them to the public at free of cost.
Public may call over 98494-92225 for free delivery of oil balls, he said and appealed to the people to cooperate for Congress party activists in this regard.
