PMC chief voted out
PONDA: The chairperson of the 13-member Ponda Municipal Council (PMC), Pradeep Naik, was voted out of office on Tuesday.
At a special meeting held at the PMC hall, councillors Sanjay Naik, Shailendra Shinkre, Vyankatesh Naik, Vandana Jog, Radhika Nayak, Kishore Naik and Dinkar Mundaye voted in favour of the resolution. Pradeep and five other councillors — Diksha Naik, Damodar Naik, Shivanand Sawant, Rukmi Dangui and Vincent Paul Fernandes — were absent.
