Ram Narayan Dubey is new Mayor of EDMC

East Delhi civic body gets a new Mayor.

Narayan Dubey of the BJP has been elected the new Mayor of the East
Delhi Municipal Corporation. He defeated the Congress candidate Rajeev
Kumar with a margin of 22 votes. Mr. Dubey secured 44 of the 66 total
polled votes. Mahendra Ahuja was elected the Deputy Mayor. Sanjay Surjan
and Sanjay Kaushik of the BJP and Varyam Kaur of the Congress were
elected members of the Standing Committee.
