Reality bites BBMP heads
Members of the Standing Committee on Administrative Reforms went to the Palike offices in Mayo Hall only to realise that there were hardly any employees there.
The inspection team, headed by committee chairman Lakshmikant Reddy, had to wait for two hours for officials show up.
The attendance in office was only 10 per cent. Attendance registers had not been signed and there were no entries since February 2008. The Group D employees came to work without uniforms.
“We will ensure they change their attitude towards work,” Reddy said, adding that such an attitude to work was unacceptable.
