Rs. 10 cr. for building sanitation complexes

Aimed at achieving the eradication of open defecation by
2015, State government has allocated Rs.10 crore for the construction
of modern integrated sanitation complexes in this year. According to an
official press release, Chief Minister Jayalalithaa ordered construction
of 77 such complexes at 73 town panchayats.
