Rs.178 crore sanctioned for water schemes
The State government has sanctioned Rs. 178 crore for
taking up as many as 120 drinking water schemes to extend protected
drinking water supply to all villages in the district in an expeditious
manner.
Announcing this at a meeting with officials
of Rural Water Supply and other government departments here on Friday,
Collector Siddharth Jain said the government had given its nod for the
proposals earlier sent by the district administration for initiating
various drinking water schemes all over the district.
