Sharan takes charge as new RMC Commissioner
charge as the Commissioner of Raipur Municipal Corporation on Monday.
Prior to this, Sharan was posted as Commissioner of Bilaspur Municipal
Corporation where he served for 18 months. He was welcomed by Additional
Commissioner JR Soni, Deputy Commissioner of General Administration
Department RK Dongre, Deputy Commissioner of Revenue Department Lavkush
Singraul, RMC Secretary Pritam Mishra, President of RMC Employee Union
Arun Dubey and others. After taking the charge, Sharan held an
introductory meeting with Zone commissioners and RMC officials. He
sought an overview of facilities and development schemes in the eight
zones of the city. He also visited various departments of the RMC and
briefly interacted with the heads. Former commissioner of the civic body
Narendra Dugga has been posted as Deputy Commissioner, Development in
Durg.
