Siddaiah inspects road widening work

He also visited Harohalli Lake and inspected its surroundings. Taking a public opinion on the matter, Siddiah said that the lake should be dug up by an additional four feet as it helped the rejuvenation of ground water levels in the area. He asked for the release of `1.6 crore for this purpose.

He said work should be completed at the earliest and suggested that saplings be planted in the vacant space around the lake. “This would provide a sanctuary for the birds,” Siddiah said.
