Siddiqui nominated NDMC member
Former Member of Public Grievances Commission and veteran trade union
leader I. A. Siddiqui has been nominated as Member, New Delhi Municipal
Council (NDMC), by the Union Home Ministry.
Mr. Siddiqui has been
actively associated with social and educational organisations and has
also proved his mettle in redressal of grievances of people including
minorities.
He had been member of the Public Grievance Committee for Cooperative Group Housing under the Delhi Government.
Earlier
he has also served as leader of the staff side, Departmental Council
for DOP&T, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.
His contribution as a representative of government employees has been commended.
