Special Secretary in the Urban Development Department Sisir Rath has
been appointed as the Administrator of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation
(BMC). Rath would join his new assignment after the term of Mayor Anant
Narayan Jena expires on December 10.
The State Election Commission (SEC) had announced on Friday that elections for BMC would be held on January 8 next year.
