As part of the efforts to ease the difficulties of the public,
Oulgaret Municipality is considering introduction of online payment of
property and house tax, Local Administration Minister N G Pannirselvam
said here on Wednesday.

The IT Department and National Informatics
Centre (NIC) would be approached for networking and the online payment
system would be introduced in the near future, Pannirselvam said  after
the inauguration of a computerised property and house tax collection
centre at the Oulgaret Municipality office in Jawahar Nagar on
Wednesday. This was the second computerised centre of the municipality.
