“Stop collecting parking fee”
Auto drivers operating from Tirunelveli Junction have
appealed to the Corporation administration to give up the system of
collecting parking fee from the auto drivers.
In the
petition submitted to Mayor Vijila Sathyananth, they said they were
being compelled to pay Rs. 10 a day to the office-bearers of Tirunelveli
Junction Van Drivers’ Association as they were claiming that they had
bagged the right for collecting parking fee from the Corporation from
April 8 onwards.
