Town panchayat building inaugurated
School Education Minister K.C. Veeramani inaugurated
Natrampalli town panchayat office building constructed at a cost of
Rs.40 lakh, on Sunday.
He said that Chief Minister
Jayalalithaa is fulfilling all promises made to the people of the region
during her election campaign. “Road, drinking water and other
infrastructure development works to the tune of Rs.2.5 crore have been
implemented in Natrampalli town panchayat limits in the past
two-and-a-half years. The Chief Minister has ordered creation of new
taluk with Natrampalli as its head quarters. Office building for
Natrampalli Block Development Office is being constructed,” Mr.
Veeramani said.
He gave away loans to three persons
under Swarna Jayanthi urban self-emloyment scheme. Collector
R.Nanthagopal presided. Members of Legislative Assembly K.G.Ramesh and
Kovi.Sampathkumar, district panchayat president Leela Subramanian,
assistant director of town panchayats S.M.Malayaman Thirumudikari, town
panchayat president Sarojachalam and executive officer R.Anandan were
present.
