Training for councillors
KOCHI: Newly-elected councillors of Kochi Corporation and Thrikkakara and Kalamassery municipalities were given training at a seminar organised by the commerce department of the Bharata Mata College, Thrikkakara. Roads and Bridges Development Corporation of Kerala managing director T.K. Jose led the session based on successful urban development models within and outside the State. Vasudevan Suresh, former chairman and managing director of Housing Urban Development Corporation spoke on the infinite options available to local bodies for execution of various development projects.
