Urban bodies will get development funds directly in their bank accounts: Minister
BHOPAL: Urban
Administration & Development minister Babulal Gaur has said Madhya
Pradesh government is a development-oriented and public welfare
government. The State Government has accomplished development works in
urban areas at a rapid pace. Minister Gaur was addressing a public
meeting after inaugurating Amar Shaheed Bharthare bus stand at Biaora.
The bus stand has been constructed at a cost of Rs 1.36 crore. MLAs
Gautam Tetwal and Purushottam Dangi were also present on the occasion.

Gaur said funds on the basis of population are being transferred
directly to bank accounts of urban bodies for development works and
providing basic amenities. The Urban Administration Minister announced
Rs 74 lakh for Biaora Nagar Palika and Rs 25 lakh each for district’s
Nagar Palikas, including Suthaliya, Khilchipur, Machalpur, Khujner and
Jeerapur for development works. Gaur also laid foundation stone of Rs
1.20 crore Kushalpura water treatment plant.
