VMC awareness drive
The Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC) will organise
a massive rally to create awareness on ban on public defecation in the
city, on Friday. The rally will start at CVR School located opposite to
Civil Courts in Governorpet at 9 a.m. and culminate into a public
meeting at Tummalapalli Kshetrayya Kalakshetram. Municipal Commissioner
G. Ravi Babu stated that the Corporation was providing free toilet
facilities in the city. As many as 404 urinals, 107 toilets, 12 pay and
use toilets, 15 portable modern toilets were provided at various
locations in the city.
