VMC raids Baroda Dairy, seizes ice cream, yogurt packets
Food and drugs officials Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) Monday
raided the premises of Baroda Dairy and seized packets of yogurt and ice
cream that were being sending to markets even after they had passed
expiry date. Two samples were sent to the laboratory. The search was
carried out after a customer, who bought two packets of ice cream,
complaint of foul taste and found they had passed expiry date. Forty
packets of such ice cream and yogurt were recovered.
