VUDA to go ahead with auction
Auction of row houses at Rushikonda on October 5 and plots in various layouts on October 11 and 12 will take place as scheduled.
VUDA
Vice-Chairman N. Yuvaraj told reporters on Monday that so far 45
applications were received for the 65 row houses and only six for the 41
B type units.
Similarly for the 140 plots 272
applications have been received. He said the last date for receiving
applications was September 30 and more applications were expected.
However, those applying online should submit hard copy along with DD. No application will be received on the date of auction.
He
made it clear that for houses/plots that received single application no
auction would be conducted and further action will be informed to the
applicants.
The venue of the auction will be informed to applicants later.
The
status of applications will also be informed to them online from
September 27 onwards. Auction will be taken up for each of the row
houses and plots separately.
Fraudulent allotment
Dr.
Yuvaraj said notices would be issued soon to persons who had been
fraudulently allotted land in 93 cases involving assigned land or in the
name of compensating for road-widening. It would be a long drawn out
process and had to be fought legally but the aim would be to return to
the people what belonged to them, he said.
