Water board MD pays surprise visit to Dilsukhnagar
Special Correspondent
Hyderabad: An additional water tanker will be deployed to Netajinagar
area in Dilsukhnagar till the water pollution in the area is checked.
This was stated by water board Managing Director M. Jagadeeshwar
during his surprise visit to Dilsukhnagar on Wednesday. Mr. Jagadeeshwar
responded to the complaint of the residents that the tanker being sent
for four lanes in Netajinagar was not sufficient. Water pipes passing
through a clogged storm water drain could be the cause of pollution. The
GHMC oficials have to clear the clog and they were asked to attend to
the problem urgently, he was informed. Mr. Jagadeeshwar also inspected
Musarambagh. He also inspected water supply to a hostel and few
multi-storeyed buildings in Dwarakapuri Colony, Bhavani Nagar and
Moosaram Bagh areas.
He found that many multi-storeyed buildings were being charged tariff
of domestic water supply connections and sought rectification.
